The most exciting thing happened this morning - Janet took the feeding tube out of Morten's nose! She felt he had enough successful bottle feedings that it was time. I was soooo happy. Poor little guy, though - the tube came out quick, but the tape holding it to his face was another story. He was definitely crying out in pain! But he toughed it out and looks so awesome without the little tube & tape! This brings us one more step closer to going home with him. We may get to take him home early next week. Just look at his handsome face!
My hairdresser, Mila, brought over some little clothes for Morten. One of them is this cute "Forest Friends" sleeper. It has little racoon faces on the bottoms of the feet - which is so adorable as Morten does his random foot extensions
Morten has had several visitors in the past couple of days - our friends John & Stef came over last night to meet him. They were kind enough to bring over some hand-me-downs from Ben & Clement.
Then Grandma & Grandpa Gove came over today for a visit. We got a chance to take a "3 Generation" picture of the Gove men. They brought Christmas with them since even if Morten is home, we'll have to have a quiet and low-key Christmas at home.
His weight is up to 4 lbs 15 oz. I think he is starting to get a little taller too - some of his onesies that were once just the right size are now getting a little tight length-wise.
That is so absolutely exciting. He is such a miracle. Heavenly Father definitely has His hand in every moment of Morten's little perfect life. What a blessing to have him home for Christmas! Prayers are still coming your way!!!!

Yay! No more feeding tube! I love the Christmas blankies you made--very cute! We also have the iron-on transfer paper. It makes some cute shirts!
