More Morten Fun

So the last post with the video of Morten whacking the chime wasn't a total fluke - he's been playing with toys more and more.  Still not organized with his body movements, but definitely deliberate.  Here's a new video of him playing with the activity center that Jamie from church gave us:

And I couldn't help myself from buying this cutest outfit EVER for him!  It's a little tight on his bum with the cloth diaper, as it's made to be slim fitting...  but I thought it was totally appropriate for him - like father, like son!  (I'm pretty sure he'll get at least another one as he grows bigger).  And yes, he does that crazy surprised wide eye look all the time...

Grandma & Grandpa keep asking if I am getting out...  well, here is proof.  When it's somewhat mild weather outside, I make sure that we get out for walks using the Baby Hawk mei tai holder.  This day we took the dogs and went to Elm Bank.  They have a good walk that makes a circle and follows the Charles River.  It's really pretty, and as long as Oscar doesn't get too distracted by the ducks, we're good.  (He almost got himself into a pickle one of the days when he decided to go after some ducks but then broke through some ice and had trouble getting back up - good thing he's a good swimmer!)

And then here's the little guy in a cute outfit handed down from his cousin Ryan.  After reading Stacey's blog, I made sure we took out the awesome monkey soft shoes that Aunt Kristiana gave Morten!  They're a little big for him now, but with the elastic, they stay on very nicely.

Morten goes to the pediatrician today, so we should find out soon how much he's grown...  he is definitely bigger!

  1. I love the little Knucklehead outfit! How cute! I'm glad you're getting use out of the outfits we sent you. We have a nice London Fog down coat for when Morten is 24 months old!
