Week 18 - The "popping" continues

This week, baby is a sweet potato:

And this is what they say:

Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon.

I am fairly sure I started to feel the movements a week or so back. Very light still, but distinctive. I especially feel them after I eat dinner and am sitting still in the chair watching tv.

We had an ultrasound last Friday for the 18 weeks

I think the technician got tired of trying to catch the baby in good positions. Mostly she was trying to get scans of the heart from different angles, and take the regular measurements of the head size and arm length, and check the spine. Anyway, baby was moving around a lot, so the best picture she could give us was this one where his hands are all covering his face. Oh well. Not the best - but I can't complain too much - this was the 4th Ultrasound, and I have 2 more scheduled as of now.
