I noticed a few weeks ago that Morty was really interested in some mega block things at the doctor's office. He liked putting them together and pulling them apart. I've been thinking lately that it's about time we put away a bunch of the infant toys Morty has, as he's not terribly interested in them anymore. I got a few big bins, and will do that soon...
Meanwhile, Allison, Morty's babysitter, picked up some Lego Duplo blocks for him. He actually really likes playing with them. He gets to choose the pieces to use one by one, as we build a tower - picking by color or size. It sometimes sounds like he's saying the name of the color even.
And then... His favorite part - knocking the tower down! Morty "makes it go boom!"
